As you drive through the tree covered canopy you will know your idyllic lake retreat has begun. The rustic elegance of this lake house offers a comfortable getaway with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Bring your family, friends, or executive team to Vossel Valley to relax and enjoy the beautiful 6 1/2 acre lake. The Lakehouse and Loft is 15 minutes from wineries and shopping in Washington and within 60 minutes of any of the St. Louis sites.
Rustic Elegance at the lake
The renovated farmhouse is 2 levels with a total of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 fully stocked kitchen, and a spacious living area. It sleeps a total of 8 people over the 2 levels. There is space in the living room and loft for guests beyond 8. $20 per guest per night applies and maximum # of guests is 12. Please bring own bedding and/or air mattresses.
This 165 year old farmhouse has been restored and given a gorgeous rustic charm that you will fall in love with immediately.
main level
The living area on the main level is an open floor plan showcasing the beautiful lakeview and original log cabin wall. The great room has ample seating, reading area, cozy electric fireplace, and a flatscreen tv. The dining area has two tables with seating for 12.
The full kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals, including place settings, pots and pans, wine glasses, and a full coffee bar.
The main floor master bedroom has a king size bed with crisp white linens, and the second main floor bedroom has a queen size bed. The 3rd bedroom on the main floor is a cozy room with 2 twin size beds decorated with a rustic look.
The spacious main floor bathroom is right off the main hallway and has a double sink, roomy shower, dressing counter, and stackable washer and dryer.
the Loft
Up a spiral staircase you will find the Loft area. It has its own sitting area and king size bed with crisp white linens and calming decor. The lake view from the loft provides guests with a perfect way to begin and end their day.
The Loft bathroom completes this rustic elegant space with exposed log cabin walls, a shower, and small vanity.
Outside space
The patio space is off the main level and provides a perfect view of the lake. Just steps from the patio is the 6 1/2 acre lake stocked with bass, blue gill, and perch. The kayaks, paddle boat, and jon boat are available for use and the dock makes for easy fishing and swimming access. Guests swim at their own risk. Spend the evening by the fire pit and watch the sunset. Remember to grab some firewood on your way into town. Please note that 2 other homes share this lake and may use the lake during your stay on occasion.
